Was in a reading slump and wanted something with strong emotion. So far, this is delivering.

Made its through audio book part 1. Seriously debating whether to continue. I’m enjoying some of the characters, but am really struggling with Shannon. She had no personality besides being small and broken.

Only 5 chapters in, but find there is waay too much internal monologue. Not sure if I’ll be able to push through.

Ugh. Only through first 6 chapters but it is so depressing how messed up everyone’s situations are. I keep taking breaks and reading other books.

Questioning my decision to start this. Already feeling emotionally wrecked.

Here we go! I was holding this series in reserve, dreading the thought of not having a Sarah J Maas book to look forward to. With two new SJM books in the near horizon, I am locking in to Crescent City.

I am struggling to keep track of the plot lines. Almost 5 hrs in of a 31 hr.

So easy to fall into and a great page turner
