this is just don’t homeschool your kids propaganda, iris please grow a backbone and move away with laura

ouch!

Winifred would listen to serena joy and feel nothing. Richard is so painfully awful to read Iris i’m so glad you escaped like 50 years later

i had to get to halfway i could sit on 49%
my prediction right now is that the love story between the man and woman is based off Laura’s stories- but like a mixture. That’s all i got!

The book is making me think about how nearly all the women i care for were married at 18,19 with kids on the way. Not an exaggeration. Their husbands? Either similar in age or quite abit older.

how did Iris’ story get more interesting than the voiceless daughters and the blind assassins?

The bed of voiceless tears :(

The fact she writes about things that have happened in history

“Shortly after college, my girlfriend Linda moved in with me. The relationship only lasted eight months. But that’s not relevant right now.
When she moved in, I was shocked by the sheer volume of random junk she felt necessary to bring into our small apartment. Box after box of stuff she had accumulated over decades of never throwing anything out.
Linda was absolutely spartan compared to Rocky.”
Spartan😭
