i hate this writing style with a passion but at least half of it is because it reads like AI

second book in a row where i’ve been like wow the tension is so good and this man is so hot (he’s literally just being respectful and actually has a brain)

so far engaging but reading four back-to-back reviews is making the ALC formula pretty transparent, which is brief historical grounding interspersed with savage critical witticisms wrapped up by a pithy conclusion, usually an equivalence of two things (love and video games, genres and girls). all very nice but also to say, i need some variation here

jack smith is not the kind of blank page name that should be allowed in a book im sorry… also, ENOUGH with the “cords of muscle”!!!!!! every time it’s mentioned i envision a comically beefed up bodybuilder and it’s ruining an already tenuous reading experience. and to make things worse, he’s blond.
