does anyone ever finish a book of poetry? I once heard Kay Ryan--former US poet laureate--say the first time she read a poem, she was basically just checking to see if she wanted to read it again! So, I'll never finish a book like The Kitchen Sink. I mean, look at the cover... How many questions does that image make you wanna ask of Goldbarth? Is that his vision of God? Himself? "The Poet?"
