reading as a part time job

okay my bad i actually love this book so much what

yeah i couldn’t even put the book down, i kept reading and reading until 5 am, until my eyes couldn’t stay open for 4 seconds
i absolutely LOVE this book, i love Circe so much, i love Odysseus, i love everything about this story
but OH MY GOD the way i started crying at the mention of Achilles and Patroclus…

“when he was gone, would I be like Achilles, wailing over his lost lover Patroclus?” MY HEART

dang the first few chapters threw me off, they were sooo boring i had to force myself to keep reading BUT NOW I LOVE THIS STORY WHAT
Circe is such a girlboss and i am here for it

i meaaaaaan i kinda dont fw the vibe of this book, i know im only at the beginning but every other book of Alice’s really struck me at the beginning, not like this one
