This is an intriguing look behind the scenes of minor league baseball. As a fan, it opened up a deeper understanding of the trials and travails of all those grinding to get to the big leagues, and made me even more of a fan. Feinstein did a masterful job of moving back and forth between the players, coaches, umpires and announcers who he chronicles in this excellent volume. Enjoyable and definitely worth the read.
