ARC* a literal LOCKED IN THRILLER with the BEST setting!!! . —I’m a rare breed of people who even love movies that are filmed in the tiniest setting, a pool, ocean cage, raft, bunkie, phone booth lol, so this is set to be a fast and fun read

Itching for a survivalism plot. This book just jumped to the top of my reads

I’ve read nearly all Andrea Mara’s books, so I’ve paused on this one to savour it until near the next publish - they’re all sooooo goood

Audiobook* so I’m flying through this back to back after the first book. —also, I’m not sad about delaying the read, they’re good but not *the hype* good. Honestly anything on Reese’s bookclub list thingy usually gets pushed down my TBR because it’s just not eNoUGh, too hyped and watered down versions of overused tropes. Not a spoiler, just a spoiled mood about expectations not met HA

Oh my gooodnessss, **ear hole read, Audible** would I have been consumed so deep into this book without the narrator? Idk, probably not a chance. I feel like I’m being told this story, like within the bookverse, not the typical audiobook where your a fly on the wall at best.

Ear hole listen. First book/audiobook I’ve consumed that isn’t mystery/psychological/thriller since The Midnight Library. 1/5th into book and I love it so far

I strongly underestimated how good this book may be. MY FAVOURITE FOR 2024 hands down.
Listening to the audiobook (I’ve slowed my usual 1.5x speed to 1x) and I wish I had it in read paper format just so I could slow down and drag out the rest of the book even more.

DNF, the hype did not meet time investment needed for this yawn fest

Audiobook- there was a solid moment in the beginning where I had to come update progress so I don’t forget - a book has never made me laugh so hard, for so long, albeit a mystery/thriller as this one did. Character building is executed really well early out in this Kmod book
