remember when i said how much could happen in the last sixty pages..ALOt JUST HAPPENED. i know i said emma and julian were kind of annoying but that ending #ouch. not only that but emma asking mark for that favor..INSANE. and then let’s just talk about that epilogue cause.. wat dat mean. anyways i really liked the cameos at the end of certain characters! plot was slow at times but i loved the plot! 4.25 stars

a lot just happened. finding out the reason emma’s parents were murdered was BRUTAL. i’m scared though why are there still 65 pages left……

omg the last 50 pages just got SO GOOD. IM LOVING THE DRAMA. the lady midnight reveal was top tier. kieran my man you #messedup big time. also WHAT WAS THAT REVEAL OF THE GUARDIAN?!?!?! of course the ending of chapter 23 ended like that right when i have to go to bed smh. if im being honest the last 150-200 pgs the plot was getting a bit slow/moderate but now it just got way more interesting 😏😏

chapter 18 left me flabbergasted and not in a good way… like why are we moving so fast. again i get why he’s acting like this but julian is lowkey giving me the ick rn 😬. anyways the plot reveal and character introduction in chapter 19 did surprise me a bit in a good way.

confession time…. julian is pissing me off a bit. like dude stop being in a bad mood and lashing out at people because of your #crush #sorrynotsorryforspeakingmytruth also emma is also making me mad because why are we going to dangerous places by ourselves and EVEN ACKNOWLEDGING THAT WE SHOULDNT GO BY OURSELVES. #smh they really do deserve each other

chapter 15 was also really good🤭 i’m loving all of the relationship dynamics rn

chapter 12 is my favorite chapter so far it had me like 🤭🤭🤭🤭. also the ending of chapter 12 had me FLABBERGASTED i cannot lie

mark is a very complex character. also julian babes you need to turn your yearning down a bit we are only 200 pages in

… WHAT WAS THAT ENDING !!!!! i was not expecting that big reveal at the end. along with the epilogue. those last 100 pages really got me. i honestly have no words. this book was so good. and i’m in shambles because what do you mean the next book doesn’t come out till 2028. i’ve been staring at my wall for the past five minutes thinking about this ending. this book gets 5 stars… I CANT WAIT 2 YEARS 😭😭

chapter twenty and twenty one with l + c had me feeling angst and pain 😭 the ending of chapter 22 though has me shocked and a bit scared i can’t lie. i’m so scared on what’s going to happen to L and im scared that k + c’s relationship is about to be destroyed soon. IM ACTUALLY SO TERRIFIED FOR HOW THIS BOOK IS GOING TO END

let me just say those last fifty pages were a ROLLERCOASTER. to be fair i was lowkey expecting it to go like that but it still got me. i will say the ending was a bit abrupt for me. aoife my girl you are the only girl ever. i’ve heard things from multiple people about how the next book is heart shattering so im #scared. while i love shannon and johnny i may have liked this a #tad better. i give 4 stars

god abigail was so annoying. whenever her pov came up i was getting irritated💀 anyways the plot for this one was ehhh. it had potential but it was so predictable like 20% in and again it was easy to find out who the murderer was during that first pov. however the cliffhanger is making me excited for the next one and i hope it goes better than this one. i give this 2.5 stars

the forty pages i just read were SO GOOD. first of all the “sweetheart” on p.352 jumpscared me and had me going OOP. and then p.352-357 had me like 😲😏 and then to top it all of p.376 onward had me gobble smacked. AND THEN THE ENDING OF CHAPTER 17 HAD ME LIKE OH MY GOD 😦😰😭 anyways besides all of that emotional turmoil i need j to come back because im missing him and m rn

i basically just got to the part where six year starts and joey brings aoife home for the first time #feels. i loved the ending of fifth year especially with joey and aoife’s dad 🥹 there’s about 100 pages left and i’m really scared for what’s going to happen next because i know it’s going to HURT

this is getting GOOOOD. pg 326 had me going through all the emotions with jerrod and merren. it’s official guys the original love octagon i wasn’t feeling at first… im starting to like these couples 🤭🤭 the one that i was a bit skeptical of was kel’s but now im #sat. the end of this latest chapter tho has me #scared🫣😰

finally starting this serious again LOL #book16. i did miss the setting of this world i will say however i hate that the author sometimes adds pov’s of the suspect because this one literally gave away who it was. now its obvious who did it and we are only 40% into the book. i’m hoping there’s a twist or something but rn i don’t have high hopes :/

omg the night before christmas eve of their fifth year >>>>. also page 270 >>>>>>>>. i hate paul he and bella deserve each other. aoife is starting to become my favorite character in this series she’s just so iconic

i’m really enjoying anjelica’s character and i’m praying nothing bad happens to her but i have a feeling something will. i’m actually enjoying this plot so far.. at first i was a little worried i wouldn’t like it as much as the first but as of rn it’s starting to get good.

god i’m so glad this book was just a duology and not a trilogy because i had to claw my way out to finish this. the plot and world had so much potential but i feel that it was written all over the place/not really cohesive and i didn’t really connect or care for any of the characters. i fear i liked the first book better (and that’s saying something). i give this 2.5 stars

joey and aoife are so cute im going to throw up and they aren’t even together yet. the end of the third year section has been my favorite so far

things are starting to get interestinggggg. i am scared for antonetta’s situation and lins situation is also stressing me out and the worst of it hasn’t even started yet. conor is such a complex character to me and im really interested to see how the author is approaching his character/development. lastly i just love kel he is my icon😍
