Why does the 29 year old FMC and the 35 year old MMC speak like they’re 14 years old???

Using butthead and butthole as insults that genuinely trigger the other character is insane. This whole book feels like the author has a word count to meet because she repeats the same sentences over and over when characters are reflecting and it’s incredibly tedious to read.

Ngl reading about the extinction of the dodo and other extinct birds made me so incredibly sad.
