How masochistic of me, picking up this "memoir" after finally going through the entirety of Ghosts and not liking it very much. I'll give it a chance, but it might become a DNF.
Spoiler alert: I already own a copy of Good Material too.

Had to put this one on hold cause I've started reading The Midnight Library in the meantime and Nina from Ghosts is way too similar character to Nora from The Library (plus Nina/Nora you get it). Also, so far I'm not impressed.

Soo I'm not done yet but need to capture my thoughts: I really dislike Nora! The whole premise of the book is somewhat interesting and I'm enjoying the writing, but I'm so annoyed by the main character, I just wanna slap her through the pages.

At the beginning I was a bit like what the heck, but now I kinda enjoy it? So I'm glad I gave it a chance, but I'm still not sure where this is going.

I'm getting slightly annoyed at this point. The lack of self-reflection and accountability is beyond me. Writing style is great, yes, but the whole story is less and less relatable. Abundance of privilege, feelings of superiority, and inability to see the world behind her wealth - it makes me cringe.
