just straight shit from the ass kind of book 😭

i couldn’t resist the drama, i shall read this

obscure book in a genre i actively avoid is somehow better than most traditionally published books ive read that were published this year. what the hell 😭

only picked this up because it’s allegedly problematic (misogynistic) but the biggest crime is that this is actually just a shit book 🫩

i take it back the book is not goated but it’s good, just like… not what i was expecting

i’m getting second hand gaslit by maxim right now. im so stressed out

we might have a goated book on our hands… everyone remain calm… i repeat… remain calm.

i’ll eat this book. i’ll do it. you don’t think i will? i’ll eat it right now.

so good so good so good so good how in the world is this not more popular what the hell

honestly i wasn’t expecting much at all but im sort of pleasantly surprised, so far it isn’t too bad at all

this is a joke. surely

if a female character enters the scene there’s a 50% chance king will describe her nipples 👍

managed to get the audiobook from my library and the narrator is easily carrying the ever loving fuck out of this novel, i would have given up by now if it wasn’t for him

this book was going pretty well until the author wrote that palestinians stole israel from jewish people, yikes yikes yikes sick to my stomach

the end is in sight and i had to tie myself to a chair to get this far

literally don’t even bother reading this, how did this book ever get lauded as a credible feminist text is beyond me

i only add this book to my CR to hold myself accountable but i cannot say im loving this so far, im unsure how she managed to make this nearly 800 pages long

unironically this book killed my motivation to read so i either finish this today or i never open it again, we shall find out in a few hours

as an atheist i can mostly get down with buddha 🙂‍↕️

“One is one’s own refuge, who else could be the refuge?” said the Buddha.

and now i’m crying in the club, great.

started this two days ago and i hate this already, why do fantasy books have like 3 plots that they recycle

😞 i feel majority of books can be vastly improved if they just weren’t That Long ™

this book is taking me a suspiciously long time to get through… i started this 8 days ago and im just barely halfway through

am i washed 🤔?

this will be my last update before i review but it must be known that fitz’s pet wolf just possessed him so it could fuck molly and i am stunned

this is not a real book

this book literally has nothing going on in it, nothing is happening, how is this 750 pages????????

it’s somehow even worse than i thought

i doubt i will like this book (please prove me wrong hobb) but i need to start finishing all the series i’ve started

dante having to put on a sailors outfit for fernand to recognise him is so perry the platypus coded

maximilian: oh that’s fine valentine, you can marry franz it’s really fine, i’ll just kill myself
