Interesting read and development of the characters. It was hard for me to get into this story but the writing was great.

Awful so far.

Dragging a bit. The whole premise I supposed to be Layla helping Caleb figure out how to “date better” yet he is super hot and smooth so it doesn’t jive with me. The whole premise of why they are “fake dating” doesn’t work here. I think this would have been much better if he was a true Clark Kent type (think Christopher Reeves Clark Kent awkward).

Issues upfront;
1) the heroine Dani, just gives herself over to a one night stand even knowing the Palmer is in a downward spiral, yet she thinks she can save him. *come on!*
2) Palmer turns himself around in under a year, andLogan as a pseudo therapist instead of real support from an addiction perspective is not realistic
3) Palmer living w/L&H is not realistic
