i think the book was a bit too long.. it was as though only one thing could happen per chapter and that structure felt repetitive after a while. also what is with the basis of mysteries stemming from someone who “didn’t want to say it in a straightforward way” wtf? and how someone survives with a FRACTURED skull without medical attention???? I appreciate the diverse cast but the plot holes are gapping

i like the stories where people share their own personal journey, be it going through therapy, the different ways they process their trauma (eg through art or medical services). i also learnt more about different mental health conditions like schizophrenia and psychosis, which aren’t as commonly talked about. i find a trending theme in learning to reconcile our past and present selves which i really resonate with
