I forgot just how much I love frank herbert’s writing style!! banged out 80 pages in one sitting which I haven’t done for ages; I think this might’ve cured my reading slump. the way he writes just makes sense to me. the mix of philosophy, and dialogue bubbling with tension as you navigate power dynamics between different sets of people… it’s the best

listening to audiobook on spotify bc it’s one of the only books I know I will never buy 💀 it’s a hate-read I guess but curiosity has just finally got the best of me bc I’m the only one in the world who never read it
