Re reading a three books in one set from my childhood favourite author, Judy Blume.

This was better than the novella. Still a fast paced read that doesn’t require too much brain power. Millie is now married with two children and is buying her dream home. We know that her and her husband are low income as she mentions it so many times in the book. But although Millie and Enzo can hardly afford their mortgage, they have enough money to employ a maid. I think it’s time to retire The Housemaid series.

A good, easy read, a bit like a palette cleanser between more heavy classics. Millie is an ex convict so when she gets a job as a housemaid in a large house she is at first ecstatic. Her employer, Nina seems nice and the house looks beautifully kept. What could go wrong? Millie soon finds out in her first week. But knowing how difficult it would be to find another job having a criminal record she decides to stick it
