I found that reading chapter 11 (chapter 9 in some editions) out loud makes it a little more bearable. If I hadn't read out loud I would have never finished that chapter. Though I do understand the many different interpretations of what was trying to be accomplished with the writing, fucking hell what an annoying, mind-numbing, snoozefest of a chapter. Glad that's done.
