When ppl say that reading is like traveling without getting out of bed, holy shit I was knee deep in 1960s Mississippi right alongside them. The audiobook is amazing, I bought this at a thrift store and it was just calling my name. I’ve seen the movie twice and I loved it, but now I that I’ve read this, I’ll have a deeper understanding and appreciation for the story. Also, the ending made me ugly cry.
