Screening via audiobook for Greenlight Library 🚦🧐

Different reading plan than usual, but enjoying it! A bit of OT narrative, a bit of poetry, a bit of wisdom literature, and a bit of NT narrative every day has been interesting, plus the study Bible notes.

Still loving this as a daily guide informing my prayers for my kids. It's helped me pray more creatively and faithfully for them, which I love.

Audiobook buddy read with my husband 🎧 usually while out on a walk... I can see why this little book helped spark the American Revolution, phew.

I continue to be impressed at the way Chuck Black reworks the Genesis narratives into a scifi world without it feeling too obvious what's happening next...

The pacing is feeling rushed in this one, though.

Wow. This is such a mixed bag. Some excellent truth... mixed with..... things I'm pretty sure are not biblical.

Giving this author another try, since I had mixed feelings on the first book...

So far, Chapter 1 meh. Chapter 2-3 great. Chapter 4....a bit of a trainwreck theologically.

Re-reading on audiobook for book club. It's a bit like listening to a Hallmark movie, but I don't mind.

Guys I couldn't do it. The cover is gorgeous, and the hype has been high... But I'm so bored, and I don't care which life Ally picks. There, I said it. Maybe I'll try again later?

I always expect to like Gabrielle Meyer's stories more than I do. I'm just not attached to any of the characters or immersed in their worlds... Maybe that will improve as we go.

Re-reading via audiobook for book club. My annoyances remain from my first read 😅 But still loving the setting and historical mystery aspects.

Uh oh this is unraveling a bit. 😑 Still...clean, but... The pacing is feeling off the deeper we go, and secondary characters are being abandoned. We'll see how it wraps up
