I’m so hooked. I don’t know how I’ve gone my whole life without reading this until now.

Genuinely feels like I'm reading a history book, but it's interesting enough to keep me going, even if it's taking me a long time to get through it

It started off strong but slightly struggling now that there are all these journals and letters from all these new characters.
Such an interesting way to write a novel though, entirely through journal entries, letters, memos, etc. I’m into it

Wanting to buy my own copies of Jane Austen novels to read and keep, but wondering if I’d actually like them and if it’s worth getting them.. anyone have any thoughts?

The first part was a little slow but it has definitely picked up now

For the first time in a long time I decided to pick up an ARC. So far, it’s definitely interesting enough that I’m struggling to put it down

Listening to the audiobook together with my husband so I kind of expect it to take ages to finish this, as we only really listen to it on long drives.. but it’s super interesting. Very similar in content to the blue zones tv show on Netflix.

Interesting story but the writing style makes it really difficult to follow without having to read sentences multiple times..

I love the richness of the world and the characters. My only thing is that I feel like I need to be well rested and focused to keep track of the story and considering I mostly read before I go to sleep, then I’m not reading it often..

Really into this one. I wish I had more time to read it, I probably would have finished it within two days

I really wanted to like this book but at this point I’m forcing myself to finish it..

Just finished book 2 so here’s another mini review.

I’m kind of glad I switched to audiobook, because I can speed it up, but short of skimming I can’t speed up my reading pace.

The storyline is interesting and the characters are well fleshed out, but this book would be significantly shorter if it didn’t have so much repetition.

3/5 so far, let’s see what book 3 has in store and how the story ends

Not the best writing so far, especially coming off from reading The Women, but I’ll push through for now..
