I messed up and got the dramatization full cast from audible. It is a lot. The sound effects, the music, the cringe adult scenes sounding like soft corn. No, it took away from the actual book. This book was already just a “fun” read for me so idk if I’m even going to finish it.

It’s hard to get through. It’s fast paced. POV changes too quickly. I get annoyed cause I get invested in one persons and then it changes to another character. Maybe I don’t like multiple stories going on in one book? So if you get annoyed by that too but have already devoted yourself to the series, this book will take forever to get through.

First time “reading” high fantasy. Trying this out as I clean the house because it’s free on audible right now. Keeping my fingers crossed I can keep up with all the world building. 😅
