So far so good, but holy sh*t- this guy hates commas.

With all due respect.... Wtf did I just read?! I was loving this book until I got to the smex. I think it's safe to say, reading about straight people spoinkling and doinkling is not my cup of tea.

She provided way too much detail about Sally using the restroom and then left out flushing the toilet. I'm sorry. I had to read about her peeing, pooping, standing up, and washing her hands, but Sittenfeld left out flushing the toilet? For what reason?! Did Sally not flush? Is there just a floater currently sitting in Noah's guest bathroom toilet? Why am I so bothered by this??

I appear to have finally reached the "Romance" although I am still waiting for the humor. I thought since I love romantic comedy movies, I'd breeze through romance novels... I thought wrong.

I'm trying to force myself not to DNF this one, but I'm 72 pages in and it's.... Boring. I have not had even a hint of anything that resembles romance or comedy(despite the fact the protagonist writes for a late-night comedy show). Hoping it picks up.

If this isn't headed the direction I think it is- we ride at dawn. I'm not fully sure who "We" is, but giddy up 🤠
