I’m going to be so heartbroken if she’s having an affair with his father

Strangely see bits of myself in Lóri

This girls life is so depressing not in a bad way but a mundane kind of blank canvas way there’s just nothing going on for her and she doesn’t seem to mind

“I leave you no picture and no sign, as you left me nothing; you will never recognize m, never. It was my fate in life let it be my fate in death” WAS TOOO GOOD ABSOLUTE 5/5

The servant realizing who she is after seeing her for a split second and not the man she has spent her entire life yearning for after several encounters was so gut wrenching i felt sick.

“What’s good is not forgotten ; I will not forget you” felt like a butcher knife to the chest

“ What’s good is not forgotten; I will not forget you” jeez that line hurt terribly

devastating isn’t even the word

This is a beautiful beautiful beautiful novel it’s just so tough to get through. I see myself deeply in claudia that nativity. Such a great book

We meet again Frank Herbert

The gods are the WORST everyone’s going through the worst time of their lives all because a god is upset

Forgot I was reading this. I can see this translating well on screen

The casting of the film, while reading this, is interesting

Not going to lie I am starting to get bored. It’s at that part of the Iliad where nothing happens so im yawning

Im guessing no one is going to have a happy ending …

I feel so bad for isabella she was scammed into a marriage by heathcliff. i hate that she’s the only seemingly innocent person in the story and he’s taking direct revenge out on her. i understand the hate for the earnshaws and edgar but isabella is innocent.

idk i know too much about these peoples lives

Rereading

Josef is lowkey dumb asf

lowkey confused is he actually on trial for something??

Mama Wu genuinely is a good woman because if I had to wait 4 summers for someone I believed loved me to divorce his wife and everytime he comes back he tries to set me up with some cousin id go insane

I finished “ A perfect Day for Bananafish” and naturally as i read through the rest of it i can’t seem to let that story go. It’s brutal the entire section is absolutely gut wrenching. Especially when Sybil is introduced the entire thing is stressful. Even now my heart aches for Seymour Glass.
