Why is it necessary to kill off a whole slew of characters again? The little plot twist with Coalis wasn’t revolutionary but a nice little twist nonetheless.
The long pauses between each sentence on Audible for the last chapter are driving me crazy though…

Honestly, I’ve been frustrated with this book since Poppy shadow stepped to NYC. Cas has continued to devolve. Poppy’s heritage is constantly changing- she’s half Atlantean, full Atlantean, descended from a god, is a god, is a primal, is a primal not bound to a court, is a reincarnation of Coalis’s love/obscession. It’s too much. The plot twist of Ispeth coming back was just irritating
