Starting this tomorrow.

I joined broken binding's SF/F subscription service and this is the first novel. I know nothing about it apart from it's a debut novel and the reviews seem pretty good. It's nice to read something and to go in blind 😀

I've read 3 massive Stephen King books in a row and I think I need a change or I'm going to get into a reading slump again. This is the reason I also struggle binge watching a TV series as I need a break every so often to try something completely different. So I'm going to come back to this in a couple of weeks. I am aware I'm very annoying lol

Grimy, dirty, violent, thrilling, horrifying. I do love old school Stephen King 😊

I realised 125 pages into "Needful Things" that I should have read this first. By then it was too late to stop (and part of it had already been spoiled). I will learn some day to check before I start a novel

Stephen king, small town, big characters. Love it 😁

Well written but I'm not sure I'm learning anything I didn't already know about Agatha Christie

Not enjoying this as much as the first book

A little confusing (plot wise) and also how the author shifts from second-person narrative to third-person narrative. However, I love the writing and I'm fully onboard

I'm having a mini reading slump (4 days) so I'm starting this tomorrow morning (and then Jonathan Strange next week). I've owned this trilogy for about 5 years so it's about time I read it after all the good reviews I've read (also some really bad reviews so we'll see)

The dialogue sparkles.
The casino scenes are fantastic and I love the politics.
The pirates scenes are thrilling and hilarious (where I'm currently up to)
Jean flirting is so so sweet.

I'm going to be gutted when I finish this series. I'll be finishing book 2 tomorrow
