allende loves stereotypes and archetypes. half of her books have the same plot but despite this her stories find a way to pull you in. this started off super slow and miss girl needs a better editor because the first 130 page’s could’ve been shortened but now the story has fully immersed me. some things she writes kinda throw me off because they are just weird or stereotypical but im going to finish the book
