Slow going. The pdf version does not translate well because of the lack of footnotes.

Amazing book, made me realize that my biggest gripe about most books is the amount of plot points there are. This one does it right focusing on only one major one, with other major plot points being placed in other books. Fell in love with Delilah Bard, such a scrappy and great character. Can’t wait to read the second one.

The world is great, and the amount of pages so far makes the tropes I thought would appear seem like they’re not gonna happen, but in a way where I can’t figure out what’s next. Amazing work, I love it so far

The prologue absolutely exceeded my expectations for this book already. As my introduction to Brandon Sanderson, it has been amazing so far.

This just feels like the beginning to the second book. The pacing has slowed down, but I’m not impressed with the way things are written right now.

The world building was not slow enough for my liking. So many things happened all at once and it’s a little overwhelming right now. Going to continue reading to see if it works out in the end.
