It took me wayyy too long to get into this😭 i think that the multiple perspectives kind of threw me off, and it was especially difficult to get into several characters' stories right after assassin's blade, which took us away from the main story to tell the prequel

but it's getting really good right now!! im really hoping to finish this before school starts

im cringing from how much keefe thinks about sophie. he's supposed to see her as she is and not as perfect but he's literally glorifying her so much

pleaseee let there be another character soon! I will die if the whole book is just keefe's thoughts and no dialogue

I'm sorry but the pebble-in-the-shoe thing is so stupid

keefe is so sweet and there are parts in this book that I love, but in general I'm unsure so far

Pretty good so far. It's actually more similar to Keeper of the Lost Cities than I expected. The writing is the same (of course) and you can definitely tell that they're by the same author. The plot and story and world is completely different, some of the explanations feel really similar. It's nice having a book to read that new but also kind of familiar.

I see why some people love this kind of writing, but it's not really clicking with me so far. The plot is giving rip off Hunger Games
The grammer is KILLING me
Also what's with all the cool hair colors? I'm curious
I might like this, I might not...we'll see

I just got out of a reading slump but now I barely have any time to read :(

But I'm really enjoying this so far! It's honestly a really nice change from YA (not that I don't love YA) because the writing style is so different.
