Honestly, this story makes me think of my mom. How Griselda is so hardened on the outside, but actually soft on the inside. How she helped a poor young girl get to the place they needed to be to find their men, but never coddled her. Even went as far as to tell her something personal about her. And yet, she still left her because she knew the only was to survive, was to be resilient.

you really see the biases between someone who is undocumented and someone who has citizenship. Like judgement is clouded because all you see is someone else's privilege, even though they may be living the same life as you. But is it really the same life? Because you're born without papers, and someone who was born with papers, has privileges and yet, still chose to live a life as someone who has no privileges.
