I really like that we jumped right into the action. Showing who our FMC is from the start instead of telling. Some of the language is just beautiful. Especially the little bits of Italian. Amorina (“little love”)? Beautiful.

I fully understand what he’s saying about the more you do something, the better you are at it…especially for the bad things you do. It’s been so fun to see literally a normal guy flourishing.

This is one of the most entertaining autobiographies I have ever read. It feels so real and like a friend telling a really good story. I can’t believe he went through so much abuse. But I really like that he brought it back by saying he needed to relive it so others can learn from his family’s mistakes.

I fear for our dear divine pair. Dacre is crazy. But Enva is not as holy as she appears either.

Oh boy. I want to defend Julia. I really do. But my goodness. As a sister, I couldn’t fathom her or Julia’s actions. The grief of being separated from my sister can’t be put into words, so I can imagine how sad both of them are right now.

What a beautifully written story so far! I am convinced William will end up with one of the sisters…you all know who.

I would argue that this one is even better than the first so far. Fate is a fun character. I love when an author gives a character an actually good reason to be “the villain.” It makes it so much harder to only root for one side and I kind of love that.

This is an interesting gothic read so far. I think I wanted more death at the start. But I'm excited for the mystery.

This is a fast book. I’m enjoying the characters a lot so far. I’m always a big fan of a male lead falling faster and harder. It does indeed feel like a Netflix show so far!

I have read a lot in this AH STEM universe and I think this is equal parts my favorite heroine and the most annoying. I like her. And I like how much grumpy boy likes her lol
