Through the Memory Garden is both purgatory in the story and a filler chapter in the book. Well written but I currently don’t see the pony other than to tie the last chapter into the next (?). 3.5 stars.

City of Laughter was utterly devastating.

30,000 Years - amazing story, wish it hadn’t ended so abruptly. The best part was the prehistoric dig and discovery. I viewed the human drama as a side story until the end, which is ironic considering the story itself.

Fuuuuuck Victorian England and fuuuuuuuuck Polly’s husband. I wish his face had caught on fire.
