Not loving it so far and I’m a quarter of the way in. Only hope for not DNF’ing it is the fact that it’s a quick read.

I find Sedaris' essays kind of hard to read, but listening to the audiobook (which he narrates) makes it so easy to get through. I love Sedaris and have previously read a collection of his (Me Talk Pretty One Day) and just listened to him on the Pod Save America podcast. He is extremely funny and relatable (at least with internal thoughts).

Currently loving the book and how true to his Judaism Shapiro is

My main takeaway so far is that we as a society are so obsessed with knowing everything. Hess discusses this in relation to her pregnancy, but the underlying message is that technology has allowed us to have knowledge at our fingertips, and we are now so obsessed with always knowing everything. You're sick? You're immediately googling your symptoms.

alas, I have to DNF this book. I completely lost interest in it.
