Robbert, the new king, has found out about the old king's daughter and son still alive trying to form up an army to take over. The old king was insane, he butchered people and killed his own soldiers because of his paranoia. Robbert wants to have the rest of their family killed. He's doing it out of anger, he wants the entire family wiped out. He saw what the mad kind did and I would want their family wiped out too.

The book is unique and interesting, it takes different genres and puts it together. An event called the big uneasy happened and the dead started coming back to life. Chambeaux died from a gunshot wound to the head, he came back to life and is trying to find his killer. He's a PI and works with different cases. The book is filled with humor and I like the creativity.

In The Road for some odd reason the name of the father and the son are never told. They reached the ocean but the father is injured. He got shot in the leg with a arrow and something is wrong with his lungs, he's spitting out blood. I believe he doesn't have long to live, his son isn't hurt in any way. The only reason why he keeps on going on is because he has his son there for him.
