“Make the polluters pay not the people” is exactly what I want to happen. This book is good so far, I like the short chapters and the added article excerpts. It seems to be more of an overview of the news rather then more detailed views of the issues if that makes sense

Finally we are getting to the one part that was missing from the prior book. This shouldve just been a novella there has not been enough yet imo to justify this full length novel

I knew the amount of waste created was bad but just wow

I am not enjoying this one and will probably DNF

When I read the last colony I can’t say that I thought wow I wish I could read this from a teenage girls perspective. I wish there was more distinguishing this book because right now I’m bored and do not want to be rereading the same book from a teenage girls perspective. I do want to continue on with this series though so hopefully it gets better

I want to use my phone less and this is giving good advice so far. I will say a 30-day detox does sound like a lot

This is okay. I really like Jane Goodall and this is about her outlook on our future but the hope has been layered with everything is awful which makes it hard to feel hopeful. It’s also like we need to change now but there’s no actionable notes so far on how to do that idk
