i hate mcs who are stupid like come on !!! it’s infuriating to see what’s going on (and to have seen so for hundreds of pages) and still have alexandra cluelessly wandering around. i wish mcs had a brain so badly, i don’t know why authors do that!

well dip, i’m pretty sure i know the end of the book already, and if i’m right it wasn’t very subtle… hope not!

this book explains perfectly why i hate when authors who aren’t psychologists write a character who is a psychologist. the methods are very poor and absolutely not something you would see at an actual therapist, especially if she’s supposed to be a good one… very cliché, completely throws me off.

may god keep me VERY far from this kind of love (tricia and her husband’s).
what do you MEAN she has to fight to make her point when she says she doesn’t want to live in that house?!

i have already laughed out loud twice and i’m only at 11% of the book, thank you emily henry

plot twists predictable from miles away, unnecessary violence that didn’t even make sense, very stereotypical and shallow characters, “it was her all along” trope, definitely not a recommendation so far. with what’s left of the book until i’m done (12%), i’m clearly not hoping for redemption.
