I got distracted with life stuff and haven’t picked up a book in a while but that ends today!

I think bug horror is quickly becoming my new favourite subgenre

As someone who loves bugs and body horror and has also lived my whole life in southern Ontario this book feels made for me lol

This is already shaping up to be a new favourite! It’s so twisty and interesting!

I’m reading this for a paper that I’m writing and all I can say so far is wow. This book is making me so emotional and is helping to kindle my love of insects even more.

I’m currently listening to an audiobook, reading a book on my kindle and reading a physical book. I’m desperate to get myself out of this slump and finish a book by the end of the month lol

This book is a little confusing but the premise is very interesting! I’m in a bit of a reading slump so I’m hoping this can pull me out of it.

Prime day means I bought a kindle upgrade as a belated birthday present to myself! I can’t wait for it to arrive!

This is already so good!! I’ve been waiting for my ARC copy of this to arrive and it was definitely worth the wait.

My partner has to read this for a class so I decided to read it alongside them as it was on my wish list. I’m enjoying it so far, I like the blend of non fiction with fiction-style prose.

Loving this so far! It’s definitely reminding me of the movie The Descent, which I really enjoyed. Can’t wait to delve deeper into this book!

This book is really good!

I am absolutely loving this book! It’s very much giving True Detective (season 1) vibes, especially with the deer imagery.

Finally finished my semester so now I have plenty of reading time :)

I need a serious palate cleanser after Brother so it’s Warrior Cats time
