This is fantastic. I'll admit, as a reader, that I'm giving some reviews of this a hearty side-eye, for reasons.

Oh good god. How can Cooper be into this much trouble this early in the book?

I'm listening to the audio book of this, even though I just re-read it because I am a ridiculous human being who loves these characters.

The writing in this is lovely, and I feel for both MCs.

Finally getting back to reading this. It's a little melancholic, since it was written during the Obama administration and now we're in...this...thing that should never have happened.

But it gives me hope that maybe we, too, can get out of this thing.
