there's ai???

when a book is written by a man and you mentally prepare yourself for reading about what gets this man's dick hard

the book immediately opening up with a teenage boy thinking about masturbating before getting groomed by an old woman was like getting maced

oh ok

Take a shot every time "Bluey" is mentioned

Ok I'm listening to the audiobook version of this and it got me with the abrupt narrator change for one line. That was legit spooky as an audio experience.

I'm interested in this book bringing up Richard Chase ATM because prior to doing his crimes his mother forced him off his psychiatric medication. Curious if this is a lamp shade moment or reference.

WAIT I had too much to drink james' surname was sunderLAND

"joe sunderson" oh and this person has the same last name as James from silent hill 2 and I'm supposed to look past it #okay

Man is everyone on this island gay

what is this dad's problem man

Ok I read some reviews while listening this and I'm not alone in thinking they bring up rape way too often lmao

is my privilege showing and im speaking out of turn or does it feel like they're playing up the slavery and rape aspect of this society too much

hmmmmmmmmmm can't tell if the cutthroat nature of the world is played up to an unnecessarily cruel extreme or i'm a coddled optimist

the silver masks remind me of the legend of korra's amon LOL

The scene with shadow minato from persona 3 fes??

YES HAUNTED HOUSE KILL THOSE BITCHES!!!

I am getting so heated listening to this man 😭

"once you read about Palestinians in Israel you will never stop wanting to beat Israelis with your bare hands"

i know most of the focus is on the whales but jfc how did more trainers not get killed

was NOT expecting a hometown namedrop

obsessed with how it does the romantasy book thing of 'and then they teleported away to have a conversation'

This is so well written but my blood pressure is already spiking at the cruelty of what Marina and her family go through

im REALLY digging the vibe and the prose for the smut scenes are so good

hmmm idk how to feel about how the characters talk to each other

was not expecting the most brooklynite accent i've ever heard for this audiobook about a norweigan

THEY JUST KEEP TALKING OH MY GOD START SHOOTING PEOPLE!!!

last book in the trilogy and they've just been yapping this entire time

I love this narrator but the way she voices the young Anaander Mianai is killing my ears
