Ugh I want to quit this book so bad but I’m too deep in. It’s so repetitive and the characters are so one dementional I can’t handle it. I’m so over reading about how fragile everyone is and how bad Jude’s grief is. The overdescription of the same thing is too much.

How many times can you put the word “fragile” in one book? The characters are so so boring with no depth. I want to like this book because I’ve loved all the Kristen Hannah books (minus the sequal to firefly lane) but I’m having such a hard time getting through it.

I really love Kristin Hannah so I want to like this book… first of all if you’re planning on doing this as an audible, don’t. The voices for the teenagers are intolerable. So far it’s really hard for me to get into it partially because of that but also I can’t stand whiney Mia and I’m not much of a fan of Lexi either. So we’ll see.

This book is pretty great. If you work in healthcare, it’s already everything we lived through but it is interesting to hear them talk about the things that we experienced in the hospital in a different light. I’m interested to see how the show is set up.
