I fear I did watch the movie before I started reading this lol BUT a few things mentioned very vaguely in the movie piqued my interest (mainly Alex’s lore) so now I’m reading the book in hopes of finding out more. The prologue did exactly what a prologue should do, I’m sat. Poppy talking about how she met all of her goals but still isn’t happy or content with her life is so real.

The prologue didn’t really grab my attention but I forced myself to keep reading and I’m so glad I did. I’m highly invested now
