It’s been a while since I read book 1 but man Nora is so annoying in this.

I wish the author would be consistent about family ties. In all the books in this series she refers to people who are in-laws as being actually related. it’s really confusing for a reader (especially one who might just be jumping in). Also the h in this called herself “the daughter of a duke when she’s actually a duke’s sister in law! Not remotely related to a duke as her dad.

An adorable woman with ADHD is in love with the Worst Man On Planet Earth (and possibly other neighboring planets) and refuses to entertain the fact that maybe she’d be less miserable away from him. Lord help me.

Ooooo intriguing

This book makes me so sad for Elizabeth. To think she went from a husband who thought she was the most beautiful person on earth to one who keeps comparing her to the lovers he had while married to her! Ngl at this stage I’m rooting for her to leave him 😭
