Omg the magic of duet narration.

I love Sarai Walker. So far I’m getting strong THE POISONWOOD BIBLE vibes.

Weirdly goodreads won't show the audiobook edition of this title right now, but I'm listening to this while in the car with my boys. We've loved all of these cozy mysteries. Even though my boys prefer higher stakes action typically, we all always get into trying to solve it before the book does.

A bout of depression means I didn't finish this baby. I'll be back.

I canceled Audible membership and can't finish this one, whomp whomp, I really liked it and was so excited that it was the same narrator as the Aru Shah books!

This is a bit of a slog for my son, a 3rd grader with strong reading skills but not a lot of passion for reading. We picked it for the content but the actual of style of writing isn't quite right for even a middle grade text (even though these are extremely popular with the upper elementary crowd). The sentences seem wordier than they need to be. It's an interesting story, but I don't think it's quite right for us.

I want to love this more. I might have to pick it up later.

This is what I'm reading on my phone on the Kindle app whenever there's a line to wait in. So far, so dark. Eventually I'm going to have to sit down and just binge this. With the lights on.

Adoring this. An anxious Aspie MC described as "wide," "round," and "chubby" with a sweet love story? OKAY. I'm finding the fandom references a LITTLE heavy at some points, but then I remember that that is what we came for and I give myself to it. Compulsively readable and sweet and fun.

Shadowhunters forever.

Rereading in anticipation of the next one coming out in a few weeks. I'm always up for melting away into the Shadowhunter world.

Only a few stories in but my love triangle-obsessed heart is happy. The first story is perfect, an absolute joy. Can't wait to get through more.

I can only commit to this book when I can lose myself and devote large chunks of time. It doesn't work for kitchen listening while I'm throwing together dinner. I love it so much, and am so deeply into each of the subtly overlapping storylines.

Cute, a little scattered. I like the personal lives of the girls more than the action. I want more of their day-to-day.
