Every page is a battle of boredom and teenagers doing things that should get them killed but the plot protects them.

The characters have been saved for the dozenth time via external means. Kinda giving Harry Potter vibes?

Halfway and struggling!

We just split POV after 310 pages of just Rand! A little jarring. Am I hate reading this? I can't tell, but I promised myself I'd give the whole book a shot before making up my mind to read the whole WoT series...🙃

Rand, Perrin, and Mat are reckless simpletons. I sure hope this gets better.... 😬

I'm determined to read the entire first book before making a decision on reading the Wheel of Time series. This is either going to be one epic tale or an 800 page waste of time. We shall see. 😬

CIVIL WAR! Darrow is wild.

This book moves QUICK. Enjoying it more than the last one but not gonna lie kinda bummed that we start off with Darrow being removed from You Know Who's favor. Kinda thought the book would be a build up of being right under the baddies nose. Some espionage...some sneaky around...Oh well. This is good too. Also the Eo secret reveal is diabolical!
