this book is marketed as a quirky romcom but i have been crying for the whole last chapter? There is so much family trauma the christmas brothers have to work through. A scheming father, a narcissistic mother who left them as children. But seeing them being there for each other and heal together really touched me deeply. I hope they can heal their holiday as well. And FUCK SANTA CLAUSE

that worldbuilding is so creative i am obsessed. It‘s like a urban fantasy holiday version of red white and royal blue ❤️🎄 (but the chapters are so long, page 69 and just chapter four? 😩)

This book has such a weird pacing. I am at 52% and it feels like it should be over soon, plotwise. And it‘s sooo slow. Slight spoilers now:


And at 49% the love interest reveals he has a partner? Never mentioned or even HINTED at that before after flirting with the main character all the time? And Quinn is judt fine with it? I reall expected more but now I am too far to dnf it. Hoping it‘ll get better now.
