Well, it’s finally time to read The Cruel Prince!!
I’ve been putting this gem off for so long that it’s honestly embarrassing :))

Let’s see if it’s worth all the hype!

idk what the problem is but i really don’t like this book … the writing style is just not for me and i’m honestly so bored. can’t wait to finish it already and start something else. such a disappointment because i wanted to read this book for sooo long

Я буквально проковтнула 155 сторінок за один раз … відірватися неможливо. Неймовірна книга!!

Damn, Stephen King really knows how to write in a way that gives you literal chills and straight-up disgust!
Also… thanks for the brand new fear unlocked … now I’m lowkey scared of old people too 🤣

I LOVE THIS BOOK…

I’m living in this book at this point!!

The writing style is what really got me. It feels so alive and natural … the dialogue isn’t polished or overly “bookish”, it actually sounds like real teenagers talking. Messy, emotional, unfiltered…
There’s something about it that just pulls you in …

So far, I’m diggin’ it…

I also like that the story is set in the mid-2000s, which makes it feel a bit removed from today’s social-media world.

I like it .. The characters are very likeable and I enjoy just following them around, even though the story already touches on some pretty heavy and triggering topics!!
A really nice surprise for me was the Irish setting!!! it’s refreshing!! 😅
My only small complaint so far: the classic “perfectly beautiful main character” trope. I definitely rolled my eyes a few times during Shannon’s description…

Still a three-star read for me. The only thing I’m really enjoying is Bec and the way he interacts with the kids..

Halfway through The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros and honestly… it’s VERY BAD!!
So many plot holes, and the main character makes such selfish and illogical decisions it’s driving me crazy!!!!! I’d do ANYTHING FOR MY KID!!!
The only parts I genuinely like are the moments when Bec interacts with the kids.
Right now I mostly feel like throwing this book out of the window!!! It’s annoying book!!!!

A completely impulsive decision to start this book.
Low-key terrified of what it’s about to do to my heart.

Abby Jimenez writes so wonderfully!!!
