After Taylor Jenkins Reid had me swallowing a lump in my throat every other chapter, I desperately needed a brain-off read ..
Something atmospheric, a little unhinged, something I can giggle at and take absolutely nothing seriously!!
So… Penelope Douglas it is.
One chapter into Credence and oh boy, this is going to be interesting hehe

It’s so well written, but child abuse is one of those topics I really struggle to read about!! :(((((

every few pages I have to put it down and just sit there like… wow… challenging, fascinating, and making me think about so many things!

As a Ukrainian, I have to admit that every mention of Russia in the book hits differently these days.
First, a random Russian nanny. Then the main character turns out to be half Russian. And I catch myself wondering: why? Why is it so often Russia? Why not Polish, Romanian, Swedish, German, Albanian, Mexican, Ukrainian, or any of the countless other nationalities that exist?!

Loving it so far!!

Such a beautiful way to think about the seasons of a human life!

I genuinely think this book needed another 100 pages..

idk what the problem is but i really don’t like this book … the writing style is just not for me and i’m honestly so bored. can’t wait to finish it already and start something else. such a disappointment because i wanted to read this book for sooo long

авторка говорить до мене. Я відчуваю та вірю кожному слову. Ця історія торкається мого серця ніжно, але водночас болісно… Я знайшла ще одне своє книжкове ТАК «зцілення через біль»

Я буквально проковтнула 155 сторінок за один раз … відірватися неможливо. Неймовірна книга!!
