Nadya is 39% done with A Tree Grows in Brooklyn
So far so good, the first few chapters felt a bit slow but once I got past that I was HOOKED. While I can't testify for its credibility, it gave me an inside on what it was like to be working class in 1900s Brooklyn. Had to stop here for now bc my borrowing period on Libby is up and I can't extend my loan so I have to wait another 10 weeks. Can't wait to pick it back up.
