The book starts off with an introduction about the writer, how she started the book and some information about Israel committing genocide in Palestina.
Samar Yazbek experiences something very eye opening. She met this young 13 year old boy, Abdullah, who said: I’m not a child because in gaza there is no childhood, we don’t have the thing to experience childhood. This broke my heart.
