started the audiobook in hopes of finishing before new years 🫣

literally every person in this book is insufferable

hating this so far

absolutely recommend listening to the audiobook of this bc the irish accents have me in tears

just when you think something is going to happen, we take about 30 steps backwards

so… when is something going to happen

it’s always painstakingly obvious when a book is written from a british perspective because they equate a 3 hour drive to driving cross country in a snow storm on a bicycle

considering DNFing not necessarily because i dislike the story but i have absolutely no desire to pick this up, at all? there are also several small details deterring me every time i do sit down to read it (the way the characters talk about each other, an honestly overwhelming amount of typos that managed to slip past whoever proofread this??? etc.)
