I was reluctant to read this because I really didn’t enjoy Babel. It felt literary to be literary. But this has been on SO many lists and it was the only book on my TBR for one of the Goodreads challenges. I’m shocked at how different the language is in this book compared to Babel. This book is approachable and so far captivating.

I don’t want this book to end. I think I’m obsessed with Koen and Serena.
