I do hate that the one piece of extreme crucial and now obvious information is something she has forgotten but I understand that she had to forget something important for it to be impactful 😔

Okay so she hasn’t forgotten 2 days, she has forgotten six months. What makes it alright for me as a reader is that we don’t know what happened in those months either and so we don’t know if it was anything important, all we know is she was kidnapped and drugged

When the last book in this series is finally released, I will be expecting at LEAST 3 chapters of Paige living a peaceful life that is very long. Maybe in a cottage in the mountains somewhere. she has been through so much in 5 books. If she dies in these next books, if they pull the same thing that happened in divergent, I will be devastated

The amount of relief I feel knowing she only lost a day or two of her memory is immeasurable

I’m gonna be honest, idk how many more plot twists and sudden revelations I can take. It’s happening practically every chapter and I’m struggling to keep up 😭 but in like a fun way

Oh my goshhhh girl it’s obvious that he is under control or something, lets use our thinking skills.
I swear her critical thinking has gone down so much since the first book but such is the way of protagonists in multi book series

Paige I’m gonna be honest, the longer this series goes on the more dumb you seem to get. I believe that she can redeem her terrible choices eventually but god is it hard to watch rn

Talk about a slow burn for the ages. Four books in and they still arnt together 😭 Its a good time though dont worry

The more I read the worse it gets 😦 I don’t know how they are going to fix all of these issues 😓 but hey at least it’s exciting

They have put quite a lot of emphasis on how Ophelia wears glasses and Berenilde has “rolled her r’s sensually” at least three times. Other than that, I’m glad to finally pick this book up off my tbr

The plot is a tad hard to follow since there are 5? Points if view and all of them have entirely different things going on but I’m having a good time

It feels like the writing is more well done than the newer, popular books. You could say that it was written before publishers cared about the max amount of money they could earn from a single book, before authors were writing a book a year. As if the author is doing it for the love of the game which I appreciate

When I say that the only thing to do in English class is to read, I mean it.

I know it’s a love triangle, I know who she’s going to end up with, I picked out who I liked more in the beginning and now I’m mourning the lack of time we spent developing their relationship 😓 but I’m pretty sure I picked the right one so that’s a win for me
