I don’t know that I will finish this book. It’s turning out to be more of a smut book set in the past than an actual historical romance. And it’s pretty poorly researched, so the idea that it’s even historical in setting doesn’t really hold much weight. So far I have no vested interest in the characters, so I don’t think I will torture myself with finishing.

I swear to god they have to have called her “the earl’s by-blow” 20 times by now. I’m not even 100 pages in.

God I’m not looking forward to this one. I don’t really need another Cinderella retelling.
